Even King Charles is expected to kowtow to the polluters
Is it time for the King to abdicate for Our Fair Future?
The latest example of how the polluters expect total subservience as they go about their looting and pillaging can be seen in this headline from The Guardian: King Charles will have to tone down support for net zero after Badenoch says 2050 is ‘impossible’”.
It is nothing new for the government to try and suppress the opinions of King Charles. The Guardian wrangled for years with the government to access the then prince’s letters called the “Black spider memos”, named due to the spidery nature of Charles’ writing. These correspondence to government minsters about various issues including agriculture, genetic modification, global warming and social deprivation were suppressed by the government because they didn’t want the public knowing someone of the prince’s standing held such life-affirming views.
The silencing of King Charles continues today in new form. The Guardian notes:
King Charles will have to temper his public support for net zero after Kemi Badenoch broke the political consensus over the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions.
Senior royal sources have conceded that the 76-year-old monarch, who has spent more than half a century highlighting environmental challenges, will have to choose his words more carefully now that the Conservatives under Badenoch have said it will be impossible for the UK to hit net zero by 2050.
The argument goes that the King is only allowed to comment if there is some supposed political consensus:
Craig Prescott, a constitutional expert at Royal Holloway, University of London, suggested the king must be less specific about his own views on the target. “I think if you take the view that the monarchy has to be ‘two or three steps away’ from party politics then, as party politics changes, the monarchy should change,” he said.
It’s remarkable how the system works to keep everyone in line. Kemi Badenoch—whose cringeworthy leadership competes only with Sunak for its ineptitude—abandons the Conservative Net Zero goal shortly after we have read a string of headlines outlining how she’s in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry. Then this absurdity is given weight by some constitutional law expert getting his fifteen seconds of fame.
Our Fair Future has some strategic advice for King Charles:
liquidate a significant percentage of assets that do not currently benefit climate and nature to fund other initiatives
abdicate the throne
spend the rest of your life campaigning on why abdication was the only way you could speak the truth
That is how you do the right thing by the planet, ensure Our Fair Future for everyone, and secure your legacy in the history books for thousands of years.
