Carney anointment offers lifeless choice
Mark Carney has been anointed as the new Canadian PM. A poster boy of the elites, Carney has been handed the job on a platter: he is now the Canadian PM without the Canadian people even having voted him into his own parliamentary seat, which is only the second time this has happened in Canadian history.
This situation offers a good example of the challenge faced by those focused on the economic wellbeing of ordinary people with clean air, water, land and energy for everyone.
The political system has offered Canadians two choices that will no doubt soon be tested at the ballot box:
they can have Pierre Poilievre who intends to rollback climate policies
they can have Mark Carney who is sympathetic to climate but who is the stooge of the globalist elite
So here we have two problems for Canadians interested in climate. If they vote for Carney and he wins:
they will only get more of the same as opposed to what they actually need
they will have been forced to give a mandate to a person who has been given the job of PM in a way that makes any honest person with a passing interest in democracy wince
So, it is not really that, “the political system has offered Canadians two choices” rather “the corrupt political system has offered Canadians two choices”.
No doubt in response to the two points above, many Canadians would rather have voted for someone who:
is going to deliver what is needed for ordinary folks and a clean environment
emerged organically from within the people and who won their hearts and minds from the ground up
And that is what Our Fair Future offers.
